Evelin Penttilä has received a BA in international relations and political theory from the University of Tartu, has a MEGA Plus diploma from the Media Business School in Spain and is a graduate of EAVE Producers workshop 2016. At the moment, she is obtaining an MA from Tallinn University’s Baltic film, media, arts and communication school, majoring in TV production.
She has international work experience, having worked at Film and Music Entertainment in London, at Berlin’s Egoli Tossell Film and at Rovio Animation Studios in Helsinki.
The filmography of Evelin Penttilä includes the cross-media project comprising of a feature film and television series ZERO POINT, a local box office hit CLASS REUNION with Kristian Taska, a theatre play THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA directed by award winning Martti Helde.
Evelin has currently in post-production Icelandic-Estonia-Norway feature MIHKEL under Amrion Productions and CLASS REUNION 2 – the sequel in collaboration with Taska Film, which will hit the Estonian cinemas in February 2018.
Evelin acts as a production service producer and is developing a slate of feature films in Stellar Film. Evelin is a board member of the Estonian Film Industry Cluster and a member of Estonian Filmmakers Union.
